There was a time, I totally didn’t believe in Tarot at all. 

Although I grew up in a household where psychic abilities were as normal as doing the laundry, I spent many years side-eyeing Tarot cards with the kind of skepticism usually reserved for “as seen on TV” products that claim to change your life.

Fast forward to 2007. My daughter and I were just browsing TV-channels because at that moment in time we were bored and both sick. So why not watching a paranormal documentary.

That’s when the Tarot cards started calling to us like a siren song. Intrigued and possibly bewitched, we decided to give it a whirl. 

My husband, being the enabler he is, bought us our very first Tarot sets and I raided the library like an overzealous tarot book pirate.

As I dove headfirst into the Tarot pool, I discovered that these cards were like the Rubik’s Cube of the metaphysical world; complicated and a total mind-bender. 

Despite my initial skepticism, I started testing the cards. And the results were eerily consistent. It felt like the stars had been eavesdropping on my thoughts, even about that ridiculous plan to quit everything and become a llama herder in the Andes.

It was as if the cards had been spying on me during my most awkward moments and had a secret stash of my most embarrassing stories. Not to scare you, but they really know everything. 

After six months of this card-flipping, studying tarot 24/7, mind-blowing journey, I started anonymously helping many people. And they loved it. 

The feedback was so positive that I thought, “Hey, maybe there’s something to this after all”, started studying the system even more and gradually began as a professional reader.

So here I am, a once-skeptic turned professional Tarot reader. Life’s weird, right?
